In order to increase firepower over the 2 pdr, the 25 pdr gun-howitzer was redesigned as a tank gun, to be fitted to an improved Sentinel. This tank was to be the AC 3, Thunderbolt, with the 25 pdr tank gun and improved armour. To make space for the larger 25 pdr rounds, the AC 3 had the hull MG removed. Production commenced, with casting of hulls and turrets. The Australian Government cancelled the project prior to completion of any vehicles.
All models and figures come unpainted and may require assembly. As hand-finished items, minor work may be required prior to painting. Any MDF bases come bare, and require painting and landscaping. Glue, paint and landscaping materials are not included with the model.
