Design engineers created the ISU-122 by mounting an A-19 122mm gun on the ISU-152 hull. At this time all ISU hulls were being completed as ISU-152s. By the start of 1944, ISU hull production had outstripped ML-20S gun production, and authorities ordered these excess hulls be completed as ISU-122s.
All models and figures come unpainted and may require assembly. As hand-finished items, minor work may be required prior to painting. Glue, paint and landscaping materials are not included with the model.
