The KV-1 1939 was the first production run of KV-1 tanks. Rushed into service against the Finns in the Winter War, it proved difficult for Finnish anti-tank weapons to deal with. Once Operation Barbarossa commenced, the Germans discovered it was impenetrable by any of their tank-mounted weapons, except at point blank range.
All models and figures come unpainted and may require assembly. As hand-finished items, minor work may be required prior to painting. Glue, paint and landscaping materials are not included with the model.
