249 Il-2s were available for combat on 22 June 1941. These early versions were single-seaters. Heavy losses to German fighter aircraft resulted in field modifications for a rear-facing gunner. Factory produced 2 seaters did not become available until late in the first quarter of 1942.
Set of six 1/200 aircraft. All models and figures come unpainted and may require assembly. As hand-finished items, minor work may be required prior to painting. Any MDF bases come bare, and require painting and landscaping. Glue, paint and landscaping materials are not included with the model.
