Panzer 35(t)

Czech light tank seized by Nazi Germany following the occupation of Czechoslovakia.

SKU: W2Ge2035 Category: Tags: ,

This tank originally entered Czech service in late 1936/early 1937 as the LT vz 35s. Germany seized more than 240 LT vz 35s from the Czech army after the occupation, eventually renaming them as the Panzerkampfwagen 35(t) - Panzer 35(t). The tanks saw German service during the invasions of Poland (1939), France and the Low Countries (1940) and the Soviet Union (1941). A shortage of spare parts from 1940 required all broken-down or damaged tanks to be rebuilt from available stock to remain operational. The summer campaign against the Soviet Union was their last.
