The Royal Aircraft Factory Scout Experimental 5a (RAF SE5a) was one of the faster aircraft of WW1, as well as stable and relatively monouvreable.
The RAF SE5a had a top speed of 222kmh and was armed with a synchronised Vickers machine gun and a Lewis gun on on the upper wing. It could also carry four 11kg Cooper bombs.
