The need to improve the cross country performance of the 6-rad resulted in the development of the 8-rad. Improvements included all wheel drive and steering, and driving positions at the front and rear of the vehicle. Other improvements included altering the turret to a hexagonal shape to increase space, and replacing the co-axial MG 13 with an MG 34 machine gun.
All models and figures come unpainted and may require assembly. As hand-finished items, minor work may be required prior to painting. Any MDF bases come bare, and require painting and landscaping. Glue, paint and landscaping materials are not included with the model.
