Bunkerflak

The Bunkerflak (officially the 8.8 cm Flak 18 (Sfl.) auf Zugkraftwagen 12t (Sd Kfz. 8)) provided the Wehrmacht with a vehicle capable of destroying armoured gun turrets and concrete bunkers. The Wehrmacht identified this need during pre-war invasion planning.
The Flak 18 demonstrated its suitability for use against bunkers and other ground targets during the Spanish Civil War. The Bunkerflak resulted from a Wehrmacht request for a more mobile Flak 18. Ten vehicles were produced, and participated in the Invasion of Poland, The Battle of France and Operation Barbarossa. The last three vehicles were reported destroy by March 1943.
All models and figures come unpainted and may require assembly. As hand-finished items, minor work may be required prior to painting. Any MDF bases come bare, and require painting and landscaping. Glue, paint and landscaping materials are not included with the model.
