The Ram Kangaroo was a successful conversion of the obsolete Ram tank to an armoured personnel carrier capable of operating with tanks.
This conversion involved the removal of the entire gun turret and ammunition storage, the installation of bench seating and the separation of the vehicle crew compartment. Hull machine guns were retained.
