The T28 was armed with the 76.2mm L-10 gun in the main turret and two smaller machine gun turrets armed with 7.62mm machine guns.
Multi-turreted Soviet infantry support tank intended to break through fortified defences. Following the Winter War with Finland, applique armour was fitted, taking the frontal armour plates to 80mm with side and rear armour increased to 40mm.
